Debbie has over 20+ years’ experience in all aspects of institutional advancement from major gifts to planned giving, capital fundraising campaigns, obtaining and managing federal grants, and establishing major donor and corporate relationships with Fortune 500 companies. Throughout her career which has spanned Canada, New Zealand and the USA, she has raised over $100 million.
A recent client survey response stated, “Debbie takes each project as a special individual that needs specific care and nurturing.” In New Zealand, Debbie led a team of 300 health professionals in hospital and community health settings and conducted quality health research and Six Sigma process mapping. For the past ten years, she has served as Executive Director of Development at Averett University (Virginia). Debbie has an MBA and a Graduate Certificate of Non-Profit Management from Duke University.
