Please meet Joao Bellucco, an Associate with S. Sutton & Associates Inc. With more than 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit and private sectors, Joao specializes in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, audience segmentation, and data analytics to support informed decision-making. He has supported global organizations in strengthening donor pipelines, improving campaign performance, and translating data into clear, practical strategies for growth.

Joao has built his career across international markets, including in Canada, Brazil, Thailand, and Panama. Some of his previous experiences have included: Digital Fundraising Consultant at Public Outreach, Digital Communications Consultant at Further Together Fundraising, and Digital Marketing Manager at Maple Bear Global Schools.

João holds a Bachelor’s degree of Advertising and Marketing from the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, São Paulo, Brazil, he has completed the Exchange Program of Advertising and Marketing at the Universidad Europea, Madrid, Spain, and is a Certificate Professional Scrum Product Owner, Scrum.org, Bangkok, Thailand.

Fluent in in English, Spanish, and Portugues, Joao brings technical expertise, cultural competence, and broad experience to the firm.

With 10 years of experience in the international development, humanitarian aid, and healthcare sectors, Thereza Jatobá has worked with international NGOs, intergovernmental organizations, and the nonprofit sector across four different regions: Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. She specializes in Donor and Constituent Engagement and likewise has wide expertise in Project Management, Fundraising Campaigns and Strategic Planning. Over the course of her career, Thereza has held leading Communication and Fundraising roles and consulting positions at a number of agencies including UNHCR, UNRWA, UNICEF EAPRO, Doctors without Borders, and the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees, She holds a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from The Diplomatic School in Madrid, a Master’s Degree in Communications Project Development from University of Barcelona, and a Bachelor of Journalism from Braz Cubas University, Brazil.
