Jerry Lawlor

Jerry has dedicated his career to assisting charities and nonprofit organizations in generating revenue and effectively communicating their purpose. For over 10 years, Jerry has worked with nonprofits to raise millions of dollars to support program development and enhance growth. Jerry’s professional experience includes key development roles with diverse organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Huntington Society of Canada, and Norfolk General Hospital Foundation. He has also held community relations positions with Hamilton Health Sciences and the Victorian Order of Nurses. Jerry is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and also completed the Community Shift Leadership Program at Ivey Business School which is designed for C-level leaders of Canadian nonprofit organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lakehead University and a Post Diploma in Public Relations from Niagara College.

Dave Lavoie

Associate

Dave Lavoie is a seasoned fundraising manager with over 20 years of experience working with well known Canadian and international nonprofits. He has helped organizations create and implement data-driven strategies to expand their development channels, and enhance fundraising programs to exceed revenue goals and steward a broad base of donor support. As a resourceful and results-oriented leader, Dave excells as a project manager, forecaster, operational planer, and evaluator. His professional experience includes positions with Save the Children Canada, Canadian National Institute for the Blind, TVO, and Oxfam. He received a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University, and completed the Fundraising Associate Program at the B.C. Institute of Technology. He is currently in the process of obtaining Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) status.

Catherine Kealey

Senior Associate

Cathy Kealey has more than 15 years of experience leading, communicating, and producing public sector citizen-centered delivery and service innovation. Her work as a UX expert and team leader bridges IT, business, data analysis, and design. Cathy’s previous professional roles include consultant and senior specialist work in service innovation, user experience, and as delivery experience architect with the Institute for Citizen-Centred Services, the Region of Peel, the City of Hamilton, Rogers, and RBC Royal Bank. As a highly sought-after digital expert, Cathy has delivered a number of high-profile presentations for branches of the Government of Canada and the Strategy Institute in Toronto, among others. Cathy holds a Library Science Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and has taken over 50 UX design-related courses from institutions including the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University and Human Factors International.

Thereza Jatobá

With 10 years of experience in the international development, humanitarian aid, and healthcare sectors, Thereza Jatobá has worked with international NGOs, intergovernmental organizations, and the nonprofit sector across four different regions: Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. She specializes in Donor and Constituent Engagement and likewise has wide expertise in Project Management, Fundraising Campaigns and Strategic Planning. Debbie Flinn

With over 20+ years’ experience Debbie Flinn, MBS, CFRE, is a fundraising/capital campaign and strategic planning expert. Deeply familiar with all aspects of institutional advancement, her expertise includes major gifts, planned giving, donor engagement and relationships, project and risk management, capacity building, obtaining, and managing federal grants, and establishing corporate relationships with Fortune 500 companies.

And, having held significant roles the US, Canada, and New Zealand (where she also led a team of three hundred health professionals in hospital and community health settings and conducted quality health research and Six Sigma process mapping), Debbie she has raised over $100 million.
