With more than 15 years of experience in non-profit, health and international sectors, Nicole is experienced in communications strategy development, direct marketing, corporate social responsibility, data analytics, donor and constituent engagement, technical writing and proposal development. Some of her prior successes include: developing the first communications and advocacy strategy and writing six annual reports for the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance; increasing international membership and engagement opportunities at the American Dental Association for dentists in other countries; and leading a rebranding campaign and supporting materials and messaging development for a $200 million capital campaign at Lions Clubs International Foundation. She holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Roosevelt University and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University. Cannon Brooke

Associate

Cannon Brooke has dedicated nearly a decade of his professional life, integrating creativity with analytics in research. Today, Cannon is flourishing in his role as the Director of Prospect Research with Chapman University, combining his data-driven approach with his invaluable and extensive experience concerning prospect identification, wealth analysis, giving trends, and engagement strategy. He previously served as Director of Prospect Research and Management at the University of Hawaii, developing fundraiser metrics and a researcher liaison program. Before that, he served as Associate Director of Prospect Research at Hawaii Pacific Health, where he spearheaded their first prospect research program and grateful patient research screening process. In addition to his time with Hawaii Pacific Health, he served as Field Research Associate for the National Children’s Study and as a Policy Analyst Intern at Grassroot Institute of Hawaii.

A Washington State native, Cannon earned both a bachelorā€™s degree in political science and history and a masterā€™s degree in political science with a focus on American government and public policy from Western Washington University.

Jeanne Bray

Junior Associate

Jeanne began her career in consumer marketing, and as many in the for-profit arena was compelled to act on her interest in social change. Building on her academic career in Marketing Management-Communications at the British Columbia Institute of Technology Jeanne segued and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Leadership (Nonprofit Studies) followed by a Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University. Over the last 10+ years, Jeanne has leveraged her for-profit experience and academic prowess to support a broad range of grassroots nonprofit organizations serving in staff capacities and as Board leadership.

Linda Boedeker

With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Linda J. Boedeker has extensive experience working with organizations in transition as an Interim CEO. Linda brings significant expertise in operations, strategic planning, program management, budgeting and fundraising for a wide variety of nonprofit agencies. As an experienced trainer in nonprofit fundraising, board management and governance, nonprofit financial management and strategic planning, she is dedicated to working with agencies of all types, sizes, and budgets. Jason Bateman

Jason Bateman has managed multiple development and fundraising teams for complex organizations. He spent twelve years at Vistage, the worldā€™s leading CEO peer advisory organization, where he managed membership growth, board development, teams, operations, and financials, while setting all-time growth and member retention records. As Gen Next Managing Director, he focused on improving operations, stewardship, board development/cultivation, fundraising, and KPIs which resulted in the best 2 years of the organizationā€™s 10-year history. At the Ayn Rand Institute (ARI), he led the Development Operations teams where his team achieved the best Q2, Q3, and 3rd best year in ARIā€™s 35-year history, raising over $15M. ARIā€™s success was in direct correlation to implementing stronger pipeline cultivation, creation of a new membership model, implementing a new CRM, major donor growth and spearheading 6 successful quarterly $100K+ donor-day campaigns. He quickly grew these two nonprofit organizations and most recently has been acting as the interim Corporate Strategy Officer for the American Red Cross-Los Angeles where he supported research and helped create a new corporate pipeline of over 500 unapproached LA companies.
